Born in Yokohama, in 1973. After working in the editorial office of "La Saine (magazine)" in Gakken Co. Ltd., she worked as an independent editor and served as the deputy editor of "Luca (published by Esquire Magazine Japan)" and the editor in chief of "Living Design (by Living Design Center)". She moved to Motegi, Tochigi where she set up studio-L Motegi in April 2009.

She has co-published some books including: Design it yourself (2004).
