Born in Shimane, in 1982. Her focus study area was about the trigger for decision making in city planning, whilst she had been volunteering for a project to revitalize small communities in mountain area. Especially her impressive work was to plan and manage a project using the local traditional resources like bamboo and Japanese ceder.

After her master’s course, she worked to arrange city planning and transportation plans in a consulting firm dealing with construction. There she was awarded the JCOMM design prize in 2011 at the Japanese Conference on Mobility Management. She started working in studio-L in 2012.
