Born in Tokyo, in 1978. She worked as a media producer in a company in London from 2001 and also has been working on a freelance basis, for TV programmes such as "European Railways" by BS Fuji, some programmes by NHK, BBC and ITV etc. She also worked as a researcher, translator and coordinator in Europe.

After joining studio-L in 2011, she got involved in the operation of Ama Community Channel, a TV channel owned by the town council of Ama, Shimane, helping the community to produce programmes. Besides she did interviews and movie-making for "issue+design".
